From the protectoAVIS.com Android application, location data is collected, always under the knowledge and supervision of the user.

The web of protectoAVIS.com generates cookies in the browser to manage the user session and to use the geolocation data in the different services of the web.
END OF OBTAINING DATA
The purpose of the user identification information is the management of the services offered by protectoAVIS.com, to recognize the authorship of the comments submitted by the users, and to provide a valid means of verification of the same.
Occasionally protectoAVIS.com can be contacted via email with the users in order to obtain more information about bird observations contributed to the database or to disclose relevant updates of the service. In no case will email be used for advertising purposes.
DATA ASSIGNMENT
The data related to bird observations, including the geolocation of the same, is automatically available to the public under a Creative Commons 2.5 license for academic, technical and educational purposes. Acceptance of this data policy implies the explicit consent of the user to such treatment of the information, without the impairment of the intellectual property rights that may be derived for the author.
The personal data of the users will not be transferred by protectoAVIS.com to third parties under any circumstances. The name and surnames may be cited publicly for the sole purpose of recognizing the authorship of the information provided by the users relative to the observations.
RIGHTS OF THE USERS
Users may exercise their privacy rights through the user panel and the contact email address, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability of the data.
